Storage & Privacy
Your information stays with you. Everything you record in HSight is saved in this browser, on this device. HSight does not receive it, send it anywhere, back it up, or analyse it — there is no account and no remote copy. HSight may count visits to its public website in aggregate, which never includes anything you record here.
Searching happens in this browser only. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Theme and Low-Energy Mode are interface preferences and are the only things stored outside this list. They contain no health information.
Currently keeping information for 7 days. HSight checks each time you open it and removes anything past that point.
Import reads a JSON file you exported from HSight earlier. The file is read in your browser only.
This file may contain sensitive health information. Anyone with access to the file may be able to read it. Store and share it carefully.
Built-in allowlist
HSight keeps a short built-in allowlist of destinations it is ever expected to reach. Anything else is flagged as an external domain so you can see it immediately.
- HSight itself — pages, styles, and icons for this app.
- No other destination is allowed, so any other domain is flagged as external.
This watches requests made by HSight in this tab since it was opened. Requests to HSight itself (loading pages, styles, and icons) are normal and never include your entries.
Your health entries are stored on this device only.
What may be counted
- Approximate landing-page visitors (an estimate, not a count of unique people)
- Total landing-page visits
- General application launches
- Broad device category (mobile, tablet, or desktop)
- General referral source (the website you arrived from, if any)
- Aggregate time spent on the public landing page
What is never counted or sent
- Anything you type, select, or record anywhere in HSight
- Which HSight features or pages you open
- Check-ins, symptoms, areas, treatments, influences, or life impact
- Care burden, care access, contacts, supplies, next steps, goals, or comfort toolkit
- Could This Be HS? answers, Visit Builder answers, or any Visit Brief or summary
- Records stored in this browser, exports, retention settings, or Privacy Mode passcodes
Turning this off changes nothing else in HSight — every feature keeps working exactly the same way. No counting service is configured for this build, so no visit information is being sent at all.
Offline readiness

- Last offline update:
- Checking…
- 1.Turn on airplane mode, or switch off Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- 2.Press "Reload and re-test" — the page will refresh with no connection.
- 3.If HSight comes back and the results below say it re-opened offline, the test passed.
The offline helper is only installed on the published app. In the editor preview there is nothing to cache, so this test will report that the helper is unavailable.
- Data does not automatically move between devices.
- HSight cannot restore records that were not exported.
- Private-browsing storage may disappear when the private session closes.
- Browser or device backups may behave differently.
- Downloaded and printed exports are outside HSight's control.
